2004-12-02 11:32 Ministry of Commerce issued an announcement on November 10, 2003 to start an anti-dumping investigation on the imported Chloroprene Rubber(CR)originating from Japan, US and EU(hereinafter referred to as the investigated products). In accordance with Article 24 of Anti-dumping Regulations of People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Commerce made the original arbitration that dumping of the investigated product had taken place, which had caused substantive injury to China’s industry and there was a casual relationship between the dumping and the injury. The Chloroprene Rubber(CR) are listed under No. 40024910 and No. 40024990 in Import Tariffs of General Administration of Customs of PRC. In accordance with Article 28 and 29 of Anti-dumping Regulations of People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Commerce decided to take anti-dumping measures by deposit in security as of December 1, 2004. Deposit in security rates are as follows: Japanese Companies: 1, DENKI KAGAKU KOGYO KABUSHIKI KAISHA 2% 2, TOSOH CORPORATION 0% 3, all others 151% US Companies: 151% EU Companies: 1, LANXESS Deutschland GmbH 32% 2, Polimeri Europa Elastomères France S.A. 53% 3, all others 151% The relevant interested parities could apply written comments, with related evidence, to Ministry of Commerce for consideration within 20 days as of the date this announcement is issued. |
