The Announcement of Starting An Anti-dumping Investigation on Nucleotide Food Additive
In response to an application from a biotechnology company in Guangdong for anti-dumping investigations on nucleotide food additive, Ministry of Commerce carried out an investigation into related issues.
According to the investigation and Anti-dumping Regulations of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce decided to begin an anti-dumping investigation on imported nucleotide food additive originating in Japan and ROK as of November 12, 2004, including Disodium 5’-Inosinate, Disdium 5’-Guanylate and Disodium 5’-Ribonucleotide. The products are listed under No. 29349930(2001, and 29349030 the year before last year)、38249090 (2004) in Import and Export Tariffs of the People’s Republic of China. The investigation on dumping will begin on July 1, 2003 and end on June 30, 200 4. And the investigation on industry injury will begin on January 1, 2001 and end on June 30, 2004.
The interested parties may apply for response or submit their written comments if they have any objections to the Ministry of Commerce within 20 days as of the publication of the Announcement. If they didn't register for response within the fixed time, Ministry of Commerce would have the right to re fuse their materials and make adjudication according to available materials.

The investigatory apparatus will carry out the investigation by questionnaire, sampling, hearing and examination on the spot.
The investigation will begin on November 12, 2004 and usually last 1 year. In case of special situation, it could be extended to May 12, 2006.
