The Soaps, Detergents and Cosmetics industries in Asia face new challenges, opportunities and increasing cost competitiveness. To address these issues, the Oil Technologists Association of India, Western Zone (OTAI-WZ) is hosting the first Asian Soaps, Detergents and Cosmetics (ASDC) conference at the Taj Exotica, Goa, India from March 13-16, 2005.
The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to bring together all the players in the Soaps, Detergents and Cosmetics industries in the Asian region on a common platform to interact, share resources, improve networking within the region and provide future directions for the industries.
The changing paradigms, emerging technologies, dynamic marketplace and environmental and regulatory issues will be deliberated at the conference. The presentations will be by invited speakers who will include captains of the industry, business leaders, technology innovators and respected analysts.
The conference will have an inaugural function and a get together followed by two days of presentations and deliberations. A poster session will provide profiles of the participating countries.
The Taj Exotica has been chosen as the conference venue and offers the best ambience and flavour of Goan hospitality in a State renowned for its tourism and silver sand beaches. The evening events, cultural program and site seeing tours for the delegates and the spouses will offer perfect opportunities to unwind from hectic priorities.
The conference will bring together over 400 delegates from 18 regional countries for an exchange of ideas and interaction between colleagues, customers and business partners from the region - an opportunity that is expected to be presented every three years.
