The event has become a tradition in the Romanian academic landscape, this year, reaching its anniversary edition with the main theme „Reasearch – a passion, not a job”. In order to advance this idea, the participants will be joined by a number of keynote speakers who will hold plenary presenatations. To the present moment, the following have confirmed their presence: Acad. Prof. Univ. Dr. Ionel Haiduc (President of the Romanian Academy), Acad. Prof. Univ. Dr. Cristian Silvestru (Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca), Prof. Titular Dr. Santiago Gόmez Ruiz (Superior School of Experimental Sciences and Technologies, Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid).
Among the main goals of this conference are: the stimulation of research activities among students in the fields of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Food Chemistry; their integration in an international scientific community and also, bringing forward the idea that research should be a calling, not just a job. |
