The conference will include formal presentations, informal technical
meetings and panel discussions. The goal of this conference is to provide
a forum for the exposure and exchange of ideas, methods and results in
heat and mass transfer. Papers on all aspects - both fundamental and
applied - will be welcome.
|
Papers are invited to be presented a the
first annual Heat Exchanger conference. The papers should be concise
and clear with subject matter of interest to all designers,
operators and maintenance personnel.
The topics may include,
exchanger cleaning protocols and practices, exchanger design
improvements, efficiency improvements, materials selection,
condition monitoring of exchangers.
Special attention for
ease of maintenance, anti-fouling practices, and particularly design
requirements for newer exchangers and filter requirements is
encouraged.
Papers relating solutions to exchanger problems
are especially encouraged. Exchangers from all processes are
welcome. This conference emphasizes the topic off exchangers and
cover all industries from Oil and Gas production and manufacturing
to Petrochemicals, Chemicals and Power generation.
The
economics of exchanger operation are encouraged, strategies to
preserve availability of process lines would be of special value to
participants.
Finally, papers that define a methodology for
testing and evaluating Remaining Useful Life (RUL) will be of
special interest to technical and operating personnel. In fact we
encourage the submission of papers that will be of particular
benefit to the persons responsible for overall process plant
operation.
All papers MUST be in written 'word format' so
that later publication in HydoCarbon Asia and RAMS Asia magazines is
possible. Power Point submissions for
publication will not be considered but the presenter should present
his paper using Power Point that covers the main points of the paper
and various illustrations.
Papers of mainly
commercial content are not encouraged and final selection will be on
the basis of papers that expand the level of exchanger knowledge and
return value to the participants. |
We encourage prospective contributors to the conference to inform us if
they would like to contribute to the conference by presenting technical
papers or become a panelist at the formal/informal panels and
discussions. The author should submit an abstract of 200 words or
less that clearly introduces his/her paper and outlines the depth of
presentation and indicate which group of attendees would benefit most from
your presentation. The abstract should be accompanied by the authors’ bio
data(s) (<100 words) and photo(s). Please note:
Abstracts of papers on any of the topics mentioned above are
being actively solicited although other
topics of equal interest will also be considered.
Companies who wish to share their experience/knowledge in the
development projects are invited to provide an abstract of their
paper for consideration by the programme committee.
