Scientific Update are pleased to present their first North American conference on Medicinal Chemistry which will provide the main forum for cutting edge work within this dynamic field and an unmissable event for those wishing to keep abreast of new developments.
The MedChem USA 2006 conference captures topics of high interest in the pharmaceutical industry and encompasses major target families such as Kinases, GPCRs, and Proteases. Sessions at this conference will include:
- Case histories presented by experts in their field
- Theoretical and practical ADME considerations
- Recent developments in the major target classes
- The topical issue of hERG
This multidisciplinary conference focuses on current approaches to the design of molecules with therapeutic indications and is relevant to chemists in both industry and academia.

General Information
Conference registration is on Thursday 7 September 2006 from 8.00 - 9.00 am. The Conference will begin at 9.00 am on Thursday 7 September 2006 and will finish at approximately 5.35 pm on Friday 8 September 2006.
Registration for Workshop One is on Wednesday 6 September 2006 between 8.00 - 9.00 am with the Workshop commencing at 9.00 am and finishing at 12.30 pm followed by Lunch. Workshop Two registration is between 12.30 - 2.00 pm including lunch, with the Workshop commencing at 2.00 pm and finishing at 5.30 pm.
Opportunity to Present and Publish a Technical Poster
Registered attendees can present a scientific technical poster completely FREE and have this published in the conference proceedings. Simply tick the appropriate box on the registration form to indicate you would like to take advantage of this offer and a poster board will be reserved for you. These are limited and will be offered on a strictly first come, first served basis, so we recommend early registration. Please arrange to send an abstract of your poster by email to sciup@scientificupdate.co.uk and if accepted, it will also be included in the conference proceedings. There will be an advertised poster session held within the exhibition hall during the event.
