Building on the terrific success of StocExpo Europe (Storage Terminal Operator’s Conference and Exhibition) we are delighted to announce the hosting of the inaugural StocExpo Middle East conference and exhibition, September 11th – 12th 2006, at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai.
Dubai is widely acknowledged as one of the fastest growing cities in the world and is the Middle East’s premier business hub. Centrally located and within easy reach of some of the world’s largest oil producing nations, Dubai benefits from excellent transport links to the region as a whole, with major tank storage facilities in neighbouring Emirates, Fujairah and Abu Dhabi.
With world demand for petroleum at an all-time high, expansion and enlargement of the region’s refineries and storage facilities is already well underway. The petrochemicals industry in the Middle East is still young and growing and the region benefits from its geographical position with Europe to the west and the burgeoning Asian markets to the East.
As with its European equivalent, StocExpo Middle East will bring together tank terminal operating companies (oil, chemical and gas producers) from throughout the region and beyond. Delegates to the conference will have an opportunity to discuss the latest issues concerning the terminals sector whilst visitors to the exhibition (free entry) will be able to see the very latest technology on the market.
