cippe-A key Role of your Success
Cippe is held every April in Beijing known as the premier exhibition in the petroleum and petrochemical industries in China. Cippe has been the most important industrial show in Asia with China’s largest exhibit space, highest quality and most international exhibitors. The exhibit area of the fifth session (cippe2005) reached to 17,000 square meters with an increase of 76% compared with last show. Approximately 429 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions including five pavilions of USA, Russia, Italy, Brazil, Singapore participated at this show, which contain 13 world’s top 500 companies and 37% international exhibitors. Meanwhile, cippe2005 attracts more than 30,000 attendees and it is running towards one of top oil shows in the world.
There are 429 famous exhibitors in cippe 2005, including Gazprom, Petrobras, Emerson Network Power, Tyco International, FMC, Graco Inc, J. Ray. McDermott, Dupont, CB&I, 3M, Actuant, Dresser Inc, Cummins, Kohler Co. in USA, Siemens, VIETZ, Bornemann Pumps in Germany, PEGETE, John Crane, Weir Pumps, GD Engineering in UK, BW Technologies in Canada, Rotary Engineering, Watlow, FlowQuip in Singapore, MAYEKAWA, KOMTSU, SUMITOMO in Japan, DAEWOO in Korea etc; Baoshan Iron & Steel, 1st Machinery works of north china petroleum, Mechanical Research Dept of RIPED, Research Institute of Engineering Technology of CNPC, Zhongcheng Machinery of Dagang Oilfield Group, General Machinery Plant of Liaohe Petroleum Exploration Bureau etc.

Paul Woodward, Manager of UFI Asia Pacific Chapter, visited cippe2005 for viewing and emulating show qualifications. He praised the high-level organization, normative service providing, high proportion of international exhibitors & visitors. He said, “cippe is the 22nd UFI approved event in China mainland. It is infrequent that 37% of exhibitors are international, while the increasing rate of 76% verified Chinese style.” He estimated that cippe would get an expanded development with UFI approved.
William Brekke, Commercial Counselor of USA Embassy, said, “ We have observed cippe for three years and we do think it is the most successful oil show in China. Therefore we will organize more USA companies to construct a double-area pavilion by which exhibitors have more opportunities to develop business with Chinese clients.”
Holger Scheel, Asia Pacific Petroleum & Petrochemical Director of Siemens, said, “ Our company paid much attention to cippe and we have participated it for five times. We hope to increase the exhibit area to about 200 square meters next cippe.”
Xu Jun, Marketing Director of John Crane, said, “ our company also attended cippe for three sessions. Petroleum & petrochemical industry is a very important application for our products, so we hope to get a better location in cippe2006.”
