Chongqing vice-mayor Huang Qifan said: The car industry is developing rapidly, and the chief next-step is to develop the oil and chemical industry. China-born American natural gas and chemical industry expert Xu Bangcheng said: the consumption of Chinese natural gas is 32.8 billion stere, which is the 18th in the world. There is plentiful natural gas resource in Chongqing. The natural gas reserves are 2000 billion stere. And only the natural gas reserve in Chongqing’s Changshou Lake is up to 320 billion stere. The natural gas sendout in Chongqing accounts for more than 42% of the whole output in China.

The feature and advantage of the exhibition：
1.More than 90% of oil and natural gas in China are mainly reserved in west China, and only the natural gas reserve in Chongqing is up to 2,000 billion stere. The Eleventh Five-Year Plan in Chongqing---the chief developing plan for resource and machining industry:it will focus on develop chemical industry and build up an international competitive integrative chemical industry base with more than 100 billion Yuan for investment. Specifically speaking, it will focus on 10 series of products in 5 area, such as the natural gas chemical industry, fine chemical industry, oil chemical industry, new material, biology chemical industry, and so on. During the period of the eleventh five-year plan our country is building a finished oil pipeline of 2 million tons along the line Guiyang—Zunyi---Chongqing and Dazhou---Changshou---Zhongxian---Hubei, and Burma---Yunnan---Chongqing. Chongqing catches this opportunity to invest 50 billion yuan in key chemical construction items, such as the integrative oil chemical industries, which can produce an oil refining project of 10 million ton and an ethylene project of 8 hundred thousand ton per year.
Chongqing, the biggest, earliest exploited and most advanced natural gas chemical industry base in China, has more than 2 thousand billion stere natural gas reserve, among which 5 billion stere has been recovered, and 2 billion will be send to the surrounding provinces. By the end of 2010, Chongqing plans to produce 15 billion stere natural gas. And it will have worked out a complete natural gas chemical engineering industry chain, educated lots of mainstay enterprises, most important technology and particular products, and established Changshou Natural Gas Chemical Industry, Fuling Natural Gas and Chemical Fertilizer, Wanzhou Salt Gas Chemical Industry Park. Changshou Chemical Industry Park has brought in 27 enterprises, 3 enterprises which are the top 500 of world, 5 transnational corporations, and invested nearly 30 billion in agreement.

lnstructions for participants：
1.The applicant should fill in the form (contract) in line with the requirements, and seal it, then fax or mail to our Organization Committee. Besides, the applicant should remit the fees to the designated account in seven weekdays and fax the bill remittance to the committee to be checked and confirmed. Then the committee will send a confirmation letter later. Then the committee will mail the receipt to the participant after receiving all charges or the receipt get the receipt by himself during the exposition.
